Lara is a data-driven, global epidemiologist, mathematical modeler and health economist withover 10 years of experience in public health research, policy analysis, and data science. Lara has worked across government with the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, academia, and non-profit sectors translating complex health data into actionable insights to inform federal policy, improve health outcomes, and guide strategic population health programs. In her previous roles, she directed, designed, and executed multidisciplinary health research and policy projects. With a diverse background in data analytics, she focuses on leveraging data and innovation to improve population health.
