Lauren Zhang

Lauren Zhang is a rising junior at Harvard College concentrating in Economics. Originally from Palo Alto, California, she is an analyst for the Harvard College Consulting Group and is passionate about the intersection of global health, technology development, and equitable access to care. As a Hutchins Scholar, Lauren conducted two years of research at Stanford University School of Medicine, where she led genome editing projects using Drosophila models to explore potential therapeutic approaches. Her work reflects a deep commitment to leveraging science and innovation to advance health equity and address pressing global challenges.
